Overview
Part of building a robust regional economy is ensuring existing and prospective companies the regional assets necessary for them to thrive. Infrastructure takes many forms, including access to high speed internet, highways and byways and commercial real estate availability. Inter-modal transportation is critical to a high performance region, as is logistics. The EconAlliance Infrastructure/Transportation/Logistics (ITL) Initiative addresses the hard assets facilitating trade and commerce in general, as well as business retention and expansion in the region.

To foster marketing expansion for Northern Santa Barbara County target industries and businesses, EconAlliance has formed a partnership with the District Export Council of Los Angeles (DECSC), a volunteer group of international trade experts (law/logistics/finance/marketing) appointed by the U.S. Secretary of Commerce to provide outreach and complimentary trade consulting to businesses.

The ITL Initiative Team has identified individual Team Members to help address challenges and capitalize on opportunities in various ITL-related domains. See Member List below for liaisons to these domains.
